What Does ZINTEX Remodeling's Warranty Cover?

Home improvements are a major commitment. They cost thousands of dollars and, until your contractors clean up and clear out, sometimes even your peace of mind. When you’re not sure how well your investment will be protected or if your contractor will be there for you in the future, it’s all the more stressful.

The remodeling industry has unfortunately earned a reputation for "disappearing acts." Once payment clears, homeowners are left with subpar work, voided warranties, and no recourse when problems arise. As proud members of the Good Contractor’s List, ZINTEX Remodeling works hard to earn customer satisfaction, from that first consultation and to our protective warranties. What do those warranties cover? Read on to find out.

Warranties on Premium Products

A great bathroom remodel starts with great products. ZINTEX partners with the most trusted names in bathroom fixtures: LIQUID ACCENTS, Jacuzzi, and KOHLER. These manufacturers ensure quality and durability. Manufacturer warranties go a step further to provide conditional coverage for damage and repairs.

By working with an authorized dealer for these premium brands, you’ll receive manufacturer warranties that other contractors can’t offer:

  • LIQUID ACCENTS Walk-In Baths
  • Jacuzzi Bath Products
  • KOHLER LuxStone Showers
    • Lifetime limited warranty: lasts as long as you own your home
    • Covers defects on all shower components including walls, base, faucets, and accessories

Warranties on Installation and Labor

How do you get the most robust coverage? You should receive installation and labor warranties on top of manufacturer warranties. ZINTEX offers several additional warranties to make sure your investment is protected:

  • Lifetime Labor Coverage:
    • Full labor and installation warranties are applied to every bathroom we remodel
    • Most contractors charge extra for this or don't offer at all
  • Transferable Warranty:
    • This unique guarantee allows you to transfer your warranty to new homeowners if you sell your home within two years of installation
    • This creates real value for buyers who won’t have to pay for certain upgrades and repairs under covered circumstances
  • Certified Installation:
    • Installations must be performed by certified technicians who follow manufacturer-approved installation procedures

If a non-certified third party damages your bath or shower materials during install, the manufacturer can deny warranty coverage.

What if you have questions about your remodel, warranties, or maintenance needs? You’ll always be able to reach a local customer support representative through our project management software (My Project Portal–where you can view and adjust the details of your remodel) or by phone.

When Can You Apply Your ZINTEX Warranties?

At this point, you’re probably wondering the same thing most homeowners wonder about: when can you actually use these warranties? This is a great question. Much like homeowner’s insurance, warranties only provide financial coverage under certain conditions.

As a starting place, warranties will reflect your state’s warranty laws. Though some states require contractors to honor verbal agreements, you’re always better off with a written contract. At the end of the day, a verbal agreement is too hard to prove.

No matter where you live, your warranty begins on the date the product is delivered and installed. The length of each warranty varies. You may see language like:

  • Limited lifetime warranty: often lasts until you sell your home, although you may also encounter ten-year terms
  • Transferable warranty: coverage is transferable to the next homeowner, but often only if you sell within a set period of time (e.g., two years)

Generally speaking, you can receive coverage for repairs or replacements if those repairs or replacements result from one of two things:

✅ Product defects (for manufacturer warranties)

✅ Issues resulting from improper installation methods (for labor warranties)

In other words, you can’t use a warranty to replace a part that was damaged by user error or reasonable wear and tear. That said, warranties are a crucial pillar of consumer protection. Without them, you’re vulnerable to lemons, lazy installations, and more.

Don't Risk Your Bathroom Investment on Empty Promises

The anxiety of remodeling without proper warranty protection is real. Too many homeowners have learned the hard way that verbal assurances mean nothing when problems arise.

With ZINTEX Remodeling Group, you benefit from our expertise as authorized dealers for the industry's most trusted brands, backed by our own installation guarantee. Both our products and our labor come with the protection of warranties.
